Breathe Easy With The Miele S5481 HEPA Vacuum
Dirt and grime naturally builds up in our homes. It’s just part of life. And it’s also expected for us to keep our homes as clean as possible. Of course, it becomes even more critical for those who suffer with allergies or asthma.
It doesn’t take much exposure to airborne dirt to aggravate an allergic reaction. So it’s important to clean regularly and eliminate these problems from our immediate surroundings.
But what’s the best way?
Using a vacuum cleaner might seem like a great way to begin. But it’s not quite that simple. In reality, a traditional cleaner can actually make matters worse in the short-term, by transferring lots of dust from the ground into the air. What’s needed is a HEPA vacuum cleaner, such as the miele s5481.
Standing for “High Efficiency Particulate Air”, a HEPA filter works to capture and hold onto 99.99% of the particles that enter the unit. And working in conjunction with a decent sealed canister, dirt is kept firmly contained inside the cleaner.
Consequently, the risk of allergens getting airborne is greatly reduced. And as a result, it’s a much safer environment for allergy or asthma sufferers.
The s5481 from Miele actually takes this a stage further. That’s because it includes an ‘Activated Charcoal Filter’ too. And what this does is get hold of smells and chemicals too. So this vacuum cleaner isn’t just responsible for getting rid or dust and allergens. In addition, it works to neutralize bad smells and odors.
Another key challenge with traditional vacuum cleaners is when it comes to changing a dust bag. Firstly, it’s often hard to know if a dust bag is full. As a result, an overfilled bag stays in for longer than it should, and a mass of excess dust is launched into the air. A second point of contention is in changing the bags as well, because does tends to escape and get airborne once more.
It’s a different story with the miele earth vacuum. An indicator light clearly shows when a bag needs replacing, so the machine continues to operate efficiently. And a self-lock mechanism keeps all the contents safely inside when it’s removed.
Of course, the Miele s5481 isn’t the only cleaner with HEPA technology. However, it’s hard to find another unit that incorporates these additional features as well.
